Roland Emmerich's 'Singularity': The brand new the new sony Halts Pre-Production

Poor box office for Roland Emmrich's period drama 'Anonymous' may have hurt his next project: The brand new the new sony has suspended pre-production on his $175 million sci-fi epic 'Singularity' and canceled several screen tests. According to Variety, Raymond Kurzweil, the important thing expert on singularity nobody produced the term, will join the project to help Emmerich with script revisions. 'Singularity' is positioned fifty years afterwards, where a famous nanotechnology pioneer relies on a dangerous new procedure to be able to save his hurt boy, Adam. The process gives Adam super forces, due to a swarm of nanobots, which he eventually eventually ends up abroad within the evil corporation that developed the technology. Stars who'd read for your lead include Luke Grimes (TV's 'Brothers & Sisters'), Logan Marshall Eco-friendly ('Devil'), Thomas McDonnell ('The Forbidden Kingdom') and Ben Barnes ('The Tales of Narnia'). Comments are that 'Singularity' is not inside the dreaded Hollywood limbo called as "turnaround," and may still meet its specific release date of May 2013. However, production will most likely be pressed back from next spring to next summer season. Emmerich's current film, 'Anonymous,' which posits that a person aside from the famous Bard written Shakespeare's plays, needs to date acquired only $3 million back in the nearly $Thirty Dollars million budget. 'Singularity' may well be more in line with his previous blockbusters 'The Following Day Of Tomorrow' and 'Independence Day.' Per Deadline, Emmerich's dissatisfaction while using 'Anonymous' box office isn't associated with this decision. Both 'Anonymous' and 'Singularity' would be the new the new sony releases.
